Effective date: 2026-10-27.
wrxstack ("wrxstack", "we", "us") is an independent, privately owned product operated from India by its owner. This Grievance Redressal Policy (this "Policy") explains how anyone can raise a complaint about the wrxstack products, including Atlas and Folio (the portfolio and personal-site builder), and the website at wrxstack.com (together, the "Service"), and how that complaint is handled.
This Policy is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (the "IT Rules"), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and, to the extent its provisions are in force, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it (together, the "DPDP Law").
Grievance Officer, wrxstack. Email contact@wrxstack.com with the subject line "Grievance". This is the only channel for grievances. We do not accept complaints by phone or social media.
1. The Grievance Officer
wrxstack has designated a Grievance Officer to receive and resolve complaints about the Service, including complaints about the processing of personal data and about content hosted on the Service.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Designation | Grievance Officer, wrxstack |
| contact@wrxstack.com, subject line "Grievance" | |
| Language | English. We will try to help with a complaint written in another language, but replies are in English. |
The same contact also acts as the point of contact for questions about the processing of personal data under the DPDP Law.
2. What you can raise
You may raise a grievance about:
- the processing of your personal data, including a request to access, correct, update, or erase it, or to withdraw consent;
- content on the Service that you believe is unlawful or breaches our Acceptable Use Policy;
- a decision we made about your account or your content, such as a suspension or a removal;
- any other concern about the Service or about these legal documents.
For a privacy request you may also follow our Data Deletion Policy or Data Export and Portability Policy. For a security vulnerability, follow our Responsible Disclosure process. For copyright, follow our Copyright Policy.
3. How to raise a grievance
Email contact@wrxstack.com with the subject line "Grievance" and include:
- your name and the email address we can reply to;
- the email address on your wrxstack account, if you have one;
- a clear description of the grievance and what you would like us to do;
- for content, the exact web address of the content and the reason you believe it is unlawful or in breach of our policies;
- any document or evidence that supports the grievance.
Never send us a password, a one-time code, or payment card details. We may ask for further information to understand the grievance or to confirm who you are, and the time we take to receive it does not count toward the timelines in section 5.
4. How we handle a grievance
- Acknowledgement. We acknowledge your grievance by email.
- Review. We review the grievance against the law, our Terms of Service, and our policies. We may ask the person whose content or conduct is the subject of the grievance for their side, where that is appropriate and lawful.
- Decision. We decide what action, if any, to take, and we tell you the outcome by email. Where we decide not to act, we give our reasons in brief.
- Records. We keep a record of each grievance and its outcome for as long as the law requires, as described in our Data Retention Policy.
The action we take is at our reasonable discretion, within the limits of the law. Raising a grievance does not by itself oblige us to take the action requested.
5. Timelines
We handle grievances within the periods the law sets. At the date of this Policy, those periods are:
| Step | Period set by law |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement under the IT Rules | Within 24 hours of receipt. |
| Resolution under the IT Rules | Within 15 days of receipt. |
| Content shown in section 6.2 | Action within 24 hours of receipt, where the IT Rules require it. |
| Personal data grievances under the DPDP Law | Within the period the DPDP Law sets, once the relevant provisions are in force. |
If the law changes a period, the period in the law applies. Periods run from the time a complete grievance reaches the Grievance Officer at the address above.
6. Complaints about content
6.1 General
Users are responsible for the content they upload, publish, or share on the Service, as the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy set out. Where we receive a grievance about content, or an order from a court or an authorized government agency, we may remove or disable access to that content, suspend the account concerned, or take other action the law permits or requires.
6.2 Content that exposes a person
If content on the Service shows you, or a person on whose behalf you complain, in full or partial nudity or in a sexual act, or impersonates a person, including through an artificially altered image, send the grievance with the subject line "Urgent grievance". We act on such a grievance within the period the IT Rules require.
6.3 Orders from courts and authorities
We comply with lawful orders from Indian courts and authorized government agencies, in line with our Law Enforcement and Government Request Guidelines.
7. Appeals and other remedies
- Grievance Appellate Committee. If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision on a grievance under the IT Rules, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee established by the Government of India, within 30 days of receiving the decision, through the portal at gac.gov.in.
- Data Protection Board of India. Once the relevant provisions of the DPDP Law are in force, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India about the processing of your personal data, after first raising it with us as that law requires.
- Other laws. If you live outside India, you may also have rights under the laws of your country, as described in our Privacy Policy, GDPR Statement, and California Notice.
8. What this Policy does not cover
This Policy is a way to raise and resolve complaints. It does not replace the Terms of Service, which govern any dispute between you and wrxstack, including the governing law and the courts that hear disputes. A decision under this Policy is not an admission of fault or liability by wrxstack.
9. Misuse of the grievance process
We may decline to act on a grievance that is false, made in bad faith, abusive, or repetitive, or that is sent to harass another person. We may tell the sender why. Knowingly making a false complaint may be unlawful.
10. No fees and no compensation
We do not charge any fee to raise or handle a grievance. Nothing in this Policy, in a grievance, or in any decision or action we take under it, creates any right to a payment, credit, reimbursement, reward, or compensation of any kind, for you or for us.
11. Legal effect of this Policy
This Policy explains our practices. It is not a contract, and it does not create any contractual obligation, warranty, guarantee, or right for you or for any other person. The only agreements between you and wrxstack are the Terms of Service and, where it applies, the Data Processing Addendum.
Timelines and targets in this Policy are goals we aim to meet, not guarantees, except where a law that applies to us sets a deadline, in which case we follow that law. Nothing in this Policy increases wrxstack's liability. The disclaimers, the limitation of liability, and the other protections in the Terms of Service apply to everything this Policy describes. Nothing in this Policy limits a right you have under a law that cannot be limited by agreement.
